330i or 330d is a good call.. slightly more expensive than an ST220 for example.

Have my heart set on an ST220, but have been looking at the VRs recently.

Also been looking at the MG ZT's but i just can't seem to agree with them.

I have an Octy vRS TDi for work - does the job brilliantly - massive bootspace and ample performance, decent handling and good economy (even when spanked)

Looks Ok too, especially when you get the shoddy Chrome Grille colour-coded...

Though, it was a VERY close call between the Mondy ST and this - the cost clinched it for me - the Mondeo is a much better looking car IMO

That road is SHIT in the rain though!

I went over it at 4am on monday - low cloud, rain and the dark meant 20mph all the way until out of the cloud - I could only see about 4 cateyes in front of me!

That was the worst trip over there so far,

Last week saw me nearly ditch the car in that big layby as the ESP didn't kick in on the gravel as i pulled in at pace - Handbrake kept me on the grey stuff...

No such thing as a Cupra R diesel. They do a Cupra with 180bhp 1.8t and 150tdi and a Cupra R with 210/225bhp 1.8T
