Top ends not everything though, infact ive never even been close to top end in mine!!

Apparently M3 will do 170odd with the limiter removed!

i can vouch for the fact that an m3 can reach 170mph on the speedo.
VXR vectra are cool looking cars, i just dislike the interiors and build quality, although they are supposed to respong very very well to a remap!

100bhp more through midrange, peak of 25ish bhp more and over 100lb/ft more from a remap costing about 560 quid if figures are to be believed. mate has just ordered one for his. dealer fitted, warranty approved.

build quality i actually thought was very good? and the seats are awesome. but people have different tastes.

a car id more than consider buying in a fwe years time.

True but well my tax reminder has just hit the carpet demanding £215 for 12 months, I can think of better things to spend that money on tbh I can imagine id be on a downer if it was a demand for 440 or whatever!!

It is. But like i say, if you include that as a direct cost of the car, and budget for it, it still works out cheaper to buy the vec than something else of similar performance for the money
