I'm with RAC and can't fault them. Used them 7 times in 6 months, fuck knows how they didn't cancel my policy
Corsa was lowered but was ok getting on a tow truck, exhaust was close but no biggie.

so basically your mate had roadside and recovery and he came and helped you by bringing his membership card and you tipped the patrolman 10 quid to be nice
got rac cover and aa cover but if i had to choose 1 to call then it would be the aa as the rac always send a patrol out or if theres no patrol available they send a contractor, but with the aa you can opt for a flatbed and just get the fucker home rather than siting about waiting

I had to give £20 to a farmer to get towed off his field with his land rover and then £5 to two RAC guys so they could buy drinks for them coming out because "they're not meant to get you outta fields"...despite on the new advert you see them towing someone outta mud.
lol, oh well

The RAC managed to drop my immaculate EK9 off the back of a low loader when they were taking it off the flatbed after the gearlinkage had come loose. That went down well with me

Complain to the RAC and get your money back!!
I would, if, i were a member lol
I am a member of the AA, if a mate breaks down and i am in the car then i am covered to get his car towed / fixed etc.
If your mate has the same on his policy which i would expect then you are well within your right to be towed / fixed whatever.
If that is the case and you had to still bribe him then i would go to town with RAC.
My mates mum were signed up to the rac, she came to us to get us towed but she drove away in her own car which give it away
