Why else would you lights on? Sounds pretty sensible to me.
Anyway Mixture of both, i have AYC and its awesome but some cars have far to much. Although from what i read on the GTR even with the electronic aid its mean to be amazing to drive.

I think your missing the point
I have said that me "the driver" would rather have control over what the car does, for instance the volvos constantly have driving lights on and you cant turn them off.
Id like to decide what the car does

Well to be fair what relevance does lights have on driveability.
And i dont care how skilled the driver only a handful of people in the world could make a car handle like the GTR without driving aids.
