that is possibly in part some of the reason Dizzy, you can see how orange peel the paint is in some pics.

I've actually sat in one and had a poke around too and they are pretty shocking bodywork wise

I accept that, but this doesn't look like it's been cleaned beyond a quick wipe over with some Pledge.

Yes, ok, he's mopped the paint outside, but there seems to be very little attention to detail from this "detail".

I haven't looked at the engine or interior pics, just skimmed straight to the last outside pictures to see what the paint was like.

whats he meant to have done in that pic exactly?

I honestly thought that was a before pic, but it's one of the last before he proclaims it "all finished".

That is fucking wankiest resto thread I've ever seen. The bit where he has used normal masking tape and masked up the bolts to spray them while they are still bolted up to the car is horrendous

He's not even masked them properly, just a square of tape round. So there must be little black paint triangles around the heads

I've always thought that "Monaco Detailer" isn't a good as people think.

Its the quality of the cars he has the pleasure of working on that "wow" people the most.

Best thing about this detail is the car. Not the work.

Woeful detail. Wonderfully stupendously monumental car. A proper Ferrari.

I'm rapidly retracting my opening statements to this thread tbh lol - I've read through a few more of his details on DW tonight and I totally agree with you! His Swissvax branding helps him as per usual too

Teach me to skim read in the future won't it

Polished Bliss needs to open up shop in monaco.

I can offer my services to move the F40's from front of shop to port for pictures.

Thats not a bad idea Colin.

In about a months time Polished Bliss will have a new detail for you all to read.

It should be something special.
Far better than this.

I normally HATE detailing threads but that IS cool! Restoring parts of a super rare, classic makes a whole lot of sense to me..

Im not surprised that you have an opinion that goes against the general consensus, but it looks like a half arsed attempt.

At least the young cars come out looking noticeably better than before. And it doesn't take two weeks to complete.

It's nothing to do with the car.

It's the fact the no expense spared is nothing better than somebody with a bottle of t-cut and a tin of hammerite.

Where's that thread where someone detailed an RS500 that had been sat in a dusty barn for years? That came out looking excellent.
