green stuffs were ok on the corsa, good for white wheels but i never used to drive to hard anyhow. using redstuffs with ebc blanks atm on the civic and despie all the bad things said, i find them really good, can squeak a bit when cold but are soon warmed up tbh

Yellows have been getting good reviews recently from the Elise boys.

Yes, Adam. See it would seem that the Yellowstuff pads on the Elise are like the best thing ever. That's not the first time I've heard that either.
I think it might be something to do with the weight of the car, if you have a lightweight track car then they are fine, another over 1200kg and there are issues.

yeah deffinitly. Ive got Mintex 1144s on mine and they stop really well and feel nice but they throw out a hell of a lot of dust. Were pretty noisy as well till i ragged the shit out of them.

My Mintex 1144 are brilliant but when I was using it for work and not getting them up to temp they are squeeky as hell.

I was considering Mintex for mine. Not sure what's in it now but I've had a few moments when they've faded on me.

Astra? Stay well away from EBC for it.
Ferodo don't make any for the Astra yet, Mintex 1144 are superb.

Thats probally more to the fact that dust n dirt behind the pads vibrate under braking and make that high pitched squeal rather then crappy pads, abit of copper grease on the backs of the pads should do the trick.
insurance dog/ Oh No No No No No /insurance dog - Its just the material of the pad they stop squeeling when up to temp.
