I took my dad's Meriva to an interview once. Didn't get the job. Think it would have been different in the Rex.

the a4 is a totaly different beast to the bora. my presonal choice would be a mapped a4 1.9tdi saloon ull see the performance of the civic whilste still gettin a 45 mpg average. im am biased though

Some employers would think an employee having a hobby like an interest in modding cars is better than some shit-stain who walks the streets pissed-up causing trouble...

Interviews I wouldn't worry about the car.

Its feeling like a tit when you roll up in the loudest car in the carpark and everyone knows when your arriving from a mile down the road when you get the job

Only thing that's matched my car for attention in the car park so far has been a road-rally prepped drop top E-Type.

I took the sensible route and bought a 5 door MK6 Fiesta as I was fed up with my Corsa always having things go wrong on me, regretted it, and missed out on a year of having a modified car, don't do it, you WILL regret it.

This is very true, i've always included it on my CV and always had a good job

Even my wife has it on her CV the interviewers love it, end up chatting about cars to her, dont think shes ever been turned down for a job

I don't agree, i believe it has alot to do with what you drive.if they see you turned up in a corsa civic or anyother modified car it would change their impression of you without even speaking to you.shame though lee as your civic is
