I'm not sure I could live with a Cup model, the interior looks quite shocking! Plus I'm not sure I'd really be making use of the Cup bits day to day

172 or 182 full fat with the Cup packs.

A mate used to have a 182 Cup, I had a drive, seemed quite nice but it was like it had the same interior as a 1.2 Clio (dont whether it does, just looks a bit basic). Guess you could always get a Cup and wang some nice Recaro's in their to spice it up...?

Are the Cup packs just "Sport" suspension rather than the Sachs suspension? Im never sure that they mean.

Recaros from the Trophy, yes please!

Great cars, fast, well built, good seating position, torquey engine, cheap parts.

Get one.

Average cars, didn't feel that fast to me, new squeak or rattle everyday, sit way too high (and I had the lower Recaros!), engine absolutely dead before 4k rpm, cambelt on full fats around £600 indepents, £800+ Renault.

Don't get one (just sold my 182 on Saturday, not missing it as you can probably tell!)

sachs suspension only comes on the trophy whoever asked...whats racing blue? mean gordini blue (light blue with possible white stripe down it) or the same colour as the cups metallic kinda blue???

Im seriously considering a 182 full fat if i can get the funds up...but most likely be getting a 172 cup...like the idea of no abs,etc and slight lightness...as as said above less tatt to fall off/break...i own a saxo vts lol and everything "mod con" seems to fackup...runs mint other than that stuff lol

Well I actually have a cup, and I find it funny people complaining they are so basic. The only noticeable difference for me I often think about is the lack of air con on a hot day, other than that I never wanted ABS, xenons dont tickle me in the pelvic region, and I actually find the seats quite supportive, they are no less supportive than the leathers. Its worth looking at both to be honest, its not as if a cup is hard car to live with. For me it was worth the compromise, 100kg is alot of difference really.

The red one I posted, really clean other than one small scratch from another car door & a bit of kerbing to the wheels. Low mileage, nice colour, owned by a woman for about 7 years who worked at a garage

Left them some money to HPI it, as long as everyhting is OK I'll be getting it within the next week or so

Loving the colour Quite rare apparently

Doesn't look like it's had the cambelt done.

If it's not don't listen to everybody on cliosport, obviously it's better having it done than not done but for some reason it's like the end of the world on there.

192 in white with antersite wheels sooo nice or the liquid yellow if you want to go all out but serious note 182 cup everyone says about these problems but working in a renault dealership you dont see many 182's 172's 192's or the new 200's they arevery well built only time you see them in the garage is for a service. 192's have a break squeek problem but thats down to owners of the cars arent using the brembo brakes propley and just glazing the pads as they arent getting hot enough and a reprogramme on the injection system for a cold start juddering
