well theyre the wheels ive wanted since i had a nova. same with speedlines. got both now. not sure what to do really. maybe keep speedlines and use them every day and use comps for when needed or sell speedlines on and just have the comps. not sure yet. i do think they actually look better. maybe just as theyre different for now.

tyres on order in the morning for them so will see how well it goes with 15's on hopefully soon.

Awesome

Must be spinning a bit more now with the smaller wheels?

Oh, and price wise for the speedlines, I sold mine for £440 delivered, delivery was £40.

the good thing is, if people all thought the same. everyone would have a 20xe corsa gsi on speedlines. oh wait.......

but yeah, they are for the purpose of being smaller. speedlines are a heavy old wheel. ive had them for years. these were cheap and exactly what i was after.

its not a car that will appeal to most peoples tastes i guess. its built as you say to serve a purpose, and the latest line of things is to make it do that purpose as good as it can but not taking it away from being a car i still drive a fair bit every week.

well tried to get r888's but toyo have them on back order and im not paying silly money for them off ebay or other places. i can get hold of yoko a048r's for similar money to r888's so im going to make a post and ask if anyone has used yoko's and what they think etc etc.

either that or just wait a few weeks/month till toyo have them to despatch again.

yeah no worries. seriously not much metal needed grounded out. i thought it was going to be horrific. a little trim is all it was. shave a bit here and there with the grinder.

they feel lighter when you pick them up. there is 1 inch less of alloy. plus smaller wheels better for acceleration. they wont catch my arches etc and stuff like that.

oh yes. wasnt even remotely as scary cutting as i thought it would be. maybe 1 mil max needed taken off.

this was all your fault you know for saying they fit fine over reyland brakes

yea not alot has to be taken off them, i was abit scared at 1st when i had to do it, so if you get quicker 1/4 miles times now its all my fault i can live with that
