Umm, I would do it. But aren't you going to need all new rear arms, front arms suspension components anyway? All new bushes everywhere.

I suspect it's going to get expensive and time consuming.

The shell has all these components already afaik

Sorry, I read half a story. You say its a rolling shell? So it's got wheels & suspension already fitted to it? So you just need to put your engine in?

Gav I think it's a good plan to re shell it plus you can sell any bits left over...

I saw your car up close and there was definately bent bits of chassis visible to the eye... You could maybe have it straightened out, but why bother to know your car is potentially still a bit bent.

In a new shell, you have peace of mind that you have a fully working car again.

yer thats the thing I dont want to start spending £££ on something thats potentionally never going to be 100% right.

Just need to find out exactly what is included in these shells so I can gauge if its going to be worth it.

I would do it in my opinion, will probably make a few £ back in parts left over.
Take it the seats aren't included? Aren't they worth a bit on their own?

lights would be cheap enough, airbags wise put an omp/momo/etc wheel on it, and just put the trim in place for the passenger one

Where it is at the moment offer a recovery service for cars iirc so they may be able to arrange delivery as well.

All I can think that I need for it other then that is

airbags
lights
seatbelts

It looks different to mine as its not the facelift version

so no indicators in the mirrors and differnt front and rear bumpers.

Off to ebay to do some price research
