It isn't the fact that he messed up 'the once'. The reason people hate him is when they asked for their money back after he told them the group buy was off, he fucked them all off and said no refunds. After about a year or so, he did start paying up but was a complete cunt about it.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I never saw a refund and got sick and tired about chasing it up every single day for about 3 month and just cut my losses.

There was far more than that mate. Most of it got hushed up because someone'd start a thread to slate him, he'd threaten not to refund unless they deleted it so it all got covered over.
He was a double glazing salesman before he set up V-sport and despite seeming to know what he was doing I've heard about some serious workmanship issues and also remember some of his more technical posts weren't always that accurate.
Despite the two jobs I've heard of him having I still think the only one that'd suit him he'd be wearing chaps and riding a horse

He also got caught out taking pictures in his own workshop and claiming it was somebody elses bad workmanship in another workshop 
Also threatened forum owners with legal action for months and months before it came out, thats one of the reasons he got away with it for so long.

he fitted a cold airfeed on my first corsa with one of his fake cda thingys, i was going to do it myself but he offered, when i looked at his work at home i seen the flexy pipe was crushed hence no air getting to engine.
He tried to con me into getting my timing belt done by him saying it hadnt been done and it looked on its way out, took my car to the garage i got it from and they proved it had been done and phoned threatening him - he shat himself
He told me my 4 branch was shite and wouldnt work, said i needed a new 1 and it was loosing me power - car was rr'd at 10 bhp over standard
fitted a Custom stainless downpipe, made my exhaust fit wrong and melted the bumper, he refused to pay for a new 1 or even fix the problem saying it was my exhaust which had been fine for 6 month prior - when i had a look under the custom down pipe was just a standard stainless replacement and even had the sticker on still
he is a total bell end

ohhh yes fitted me some -90mm springs, told him to put my -40mm spax ones in my boot, when i checked they werent there, went back to get them and he said he couldnt find them and they must have been thrown out

I have bought some Stainless steal valves from him guess what they never turned up luckily I have paid him with visa so got money back after 3 months than he tried again to get money from my visa without authorization luckily again got money back thanks to visa !

I got trading standards on to him & the guy i was talking to, contacted trading standards in the north east & paid him a visit, i have the letter downstairs. I was going to post it on here when i came through but i though it would be best not to.

Yeah its true PD Tuning are in this months tutorial in TV. Heard loads of bad things abit Dave etc but not had out to do with him. Might have something to do with the bad rep lol.
