Yeah, repeatedly. They were overkilling knobs this year. We were in the corner of VIP with a washing machine drum for a fire. The flames were coming up about a foot so they called the onsite Fire Brigade to put it out!?! Doused it with water for about 2 minutes then fucked off. 30 minutes later the residual heat had dried the charcoal and we were off again.
Once we bribed Security with food (duck/sausage/burgers etc) they were fine, almost encouraging us TBH!
We did do a BIG fire as a leaving gesture though!
Did anyone see the person cling filmed to the tree by the bogs in VIP camping?
