hes had 3 of them, hes had a 1.2 8v then a 1.3 M-Jet and now this 1.4 GP, he got it at a good price and there was a wait for a t-jet of same spec, he only put the diesel wheels on yesterday, thats why he wanted some pics that wernt off a camera phone,
the sportlines are great, really make the car better, get the bars and see what they are like!
another castle comb day in sept too

Cheers for the info mate
The one the garage has in is a 57 plate, 22k miles and is up for £8.5. I've not looked into it or anything yet but i'm guessing that will be a series 2, as it seems a little expensive

I dont know what the going rate for them is, mine is an 06 and near on 50k now so mines worth buttons, if its orange it wont be a series 2, I paid 8k for mine with 19k on the clock 18 months ago

Ah right, it's an orange one will be series one then. Will go down and have a word and see what they say, will all depend on what they offer me for mine TBH as to wether I change or not. Even with the better running costs if I have to take finance it will probably work out more expensive in the long run.
Cheers

I'd like to upgrade mine soon. I don't know what would be better, 1.9m ot 1.4t... I do like my diesel so I'm swayed that direction at the moment

have to come to a meet with me and matt there
but if you were going for new the 1.9 has been dropped in favour of a 1.6 with the same power

I think it'd be used. But I don't think I'll be getting it in a hurry now, as job application forms have turned into university application forms
But why the 1.6

i think its to do with the mito only having the 1.6 diesel, probably more efficient
its not the only engine to go.. the 2.2jts gm unit is being replaced by a 1.8 turbo at some point

Mito That would be a pretty cool car, if it wasn't so ugly!

That's exactly what I say, it's a brilliant car to drive, I've driven several versions.. It's just that front end.. it's not so bad with an airdam.. But no one ever buys them

the 1.6 is supposed to be very good, its 120bhp isnt it? is bound to be lighter and more efficiant though, my betting is it wont be mappable though

130 iirc not so sure about it not being mappable, maybe just not as much power gained like when mapping a 1.9
