not necessarily the car its the driver last week some dude in an M3 couldnt keep up with me around watford while i was 4 up, as soon as we hit the motorway he managed to pass me, FFS i was in a Mk5 Gt Tdi140 golf had it had been someone who knew how to drive the second i attempted to mess with him he would have left me standing

this is the problem the person maybe racing you but that doesnt mean they can actually drive and handle the car well

Yes matt its the same one, the pair of them nail it every where, you can hear them before you see the smoke. The fabia sounds mental tbf. But yes they both drive like cocks, i have yet to play

Its not ideal throwing your car into roundabouts at silly speeds on public roads, its too dangerous so I never bother! I usually just wait until a nice straight bit of road where is safe and then "try" to pass.

So if you encountered me on a roundabout then you would definitely "beat" me!

i wouldnt say R32s are that quick, i "raced" one in my Corsa and left it like he was going backwards much to the amusement of his hot GF.

Wasnt at all impressed. I still like them, just for the noise

They aint the fastest thing on earth your right, but they aint exsacly slow. Also some people are mixing up mk4 with mk5 (like i have done with a few replies )

How do they differ performance wise?

I was behind a mk5 one and he could not leave me and it looked very unstable on the rear when he was pushing

The haldex system is shit IMO
