I work in a garage and very much doubt it will be close to a write off.

That is my opinion anyway

Thats good to no. Doubt she would just give £400 cash out tho. Time will tell I guess.

Thanks

Edit: Its on her insurance, not mine.

I imagine if that goes through the insurance it will be wrote off tbh, its 10 years old and not worth a great deal. By the time all the replacement panels are bought it will be unecomomical to fix.

Just try and get some cash off the person who hit it.

looking at it tho, the insurance will just say repair the wing and not replace it with a new one. Also i do not think the slam panel is/will be bent as the damage is very minimal if that helps

I expected to see the front bumper hanging off. I've had worse damage than that on the tip of my dick.

shouldnt have gone through insurance

i put mine into a hedge doing more damage, i.e smashed headlight, broken arch, bent back wing, bent crossrail and broken bumper and bent bottom ball joint..

cost me something like 500 including having a semi smooth boot done and some other dents

Some people are saying its deffo not a write off and some are saying it will be fine. I will post up when I no the outcome. Time will tell I guess

New wing, new bonnet, new headlight, painting, labour etc etc....

Corsa worth £1000 or so

I'd say it will be close to a write off.

very true, as my silver corsa got a new wing and bonnet and both wings and bonnet sprayed the price was £850 to fix it after a truck reversed into it, insurance job luckely.

Exactly, I dont think geting cash off her is in the question even if I could.

It will deffo be a close one. Just hope I can get the insurance company to spray my GSi bumper if they decide to fix it. (less cost for them)

That bonnet looks rubber ducked to me, something that been pushed back - you wanna really hope it is the bonnet thats bent and not the mounting points.

Don't be a knob if you haven't got anything more than a slightly stiff neck that will go away in a few days.

speaking from experince if you get an engineer out they will quote for all replacement parts and thsu will be written off

The wing and bonet and bumper could be repaired saving a fortune

take it a bodyshop and ask for an estimate

I would be amazed if its anything over £300

Then ask her for the money

Yes, I had to buy another one from Vauxhall when mine got ripped out.

They also weigh naff all, so i never got why people wanted Carbon wings.
