The carabic one is overpriced IMO.
Theres a difference between dunking a knackered old LET into a 15yr old rusty Gsi with 20owners and bodging the wiring and selling for £4k+ "cos it has a C20LET"
But that is a completely different kettle of fish, if its been stripped and re done its probably in better condition than a 3yr old car IMO!

im guessing you have never seen the blue one?
its pristine showroom condition that has had more money than any other corsa i have seen spent on it,
to class it as mint would be a serious understatement, its pretty much perfection!

My description of a rusty old Gsi was not aimed at the carabic one, merely some of the others for sale when i was selling mine and people wanting £4k+ for rusty old bangers that had plumes of blue smoke when running
No i have not seen it in the flesh, but the sum of parts dont seem to be as much as the red one by a long way, lovely example and looks to be in VGC, but as stated i dont thing its worth £5k IMO

A bog standard LET with nice wheels would never fetch good money but a car like that or Nics you can easily see reaching over 5k with the work it/they've had done.

thing is, people go on and on about "i wouldnt spend that much on a corsa" when people say about tuning and stuff. yet its perfectably fine to get a car on finance for 20k. just seems odd to me.
it "is" a corsa. its not "only" a corsa as its far from a std corsa.

That cars owes him big coin and martin is abit of a perfectionist, alot of people who know the car know the work that has gone into it. I've not known it to be out when its wet. It drives well, its like its factory and im not just saying that because he's a mate. it really does
I posted martin the link to this thread and hes was suprised at the comments (in a good way)
