not sure if you can buy them, but i doubt some metal bent / welded into a box is expensive to produce, obviosuly there wants to be breathing space around the filter / box walls and leave the bottom / wing side maybe open

Avoid An Cone Induction Kit IMO They do more damage than good , Mine left me with various flat spots heat soak and alsorts and not only that i lost about 90% of its value when i sold it for£12 two months later.

Panel Filter and drilled airbox is FTW

Standard airbox with a nice new paper filter is the best.

Halfords special. heat soak is just a buzz word to help sell expensive enclosed filters. heat soak only occurs at idle - once the car is moving the problem goes away.

Race cars use open sock filters or none at all - they dont get heat soak, think about it...

Why drill it? waste of time. that lower part of the smaller half of the airbox that u have drilled the one big hole in just comes off if you prize it with a screwdriver...

ok so, today i will probably be re-fitting the enclosed air filter and then using my bendy air feed thing to attatch to the end of it, question is if i put the tube directly onto the end of the enclosed filter will it still suck air as well?
