here my 2pence
lower it
black vts wheels
duplex exhaust (or twin exit like the gold one on last page)
black headlamps + taillights
(maybe H.I.Ds)
A decent filter
then save for a pug gti-6/or mi-16 engine
not sure on what one but the 2.0l 16

Will be saving for a while the conversion costs about 4 grand. Better with a vts engine

There are folk on 106oc who will fit a VTS engine for £500. Get that done. The difference is massive. My VTR was RR'd at 113bhp which isn't far off a VTS, but for the price spent to get it there you'd get the 16v lump in and better tuning potential.

I think the RR was prety generous as if you were to post this on a saxo/106 gti forum they will just laugh at you.
FYI my bro has a Saxo and we looked into the tuning potential of a 16v TU lump.
Also Paul J had the above mods and made well under 160 bhp

I dont personally like the image that comes with a saxo, however Brett's was amazing Subtle yet you could tell it had been modded

i wish i could go to a dyno and ask for a power and get it, if not more!
my opinion would be save you money, enjoy the car, and wait till a time comes when you want to put money in a better car. just my opinion, as iv made mistakes spending lots and lots of money on cars which i didnt keep, and to this day i wish i hadnt spent what i spent!
