Been in a bog standard Cooper S and was mega impressed at how well this thing took corners.Was like shit to a blanket.

However in the wet lift off over-steer dosnt take much effort.

What you here and what happened are two totally different things. The story i've heard is it spun round twice then i put it into reverse and hit a lamppost

True story is, i tapped a sign resulting in a new front bumper.. Can post pictures but don't really feel i have to prove myself

Both 1.6 16v
Both tubos

Both easy to get 220bhp out of......

Whats the standard weight of both?
Cost of both?

Cost per bhp increase....

Wonder whats the better car. I know a 200bhp mini won't be far off the astras ass due to power vs weight.

i had a play with a JCW mini the other night, they go very very well, kept up with my ZR just pulled infront of him on the duel carriage way.

Fair enough they are "nippy" enough in a straight line but its not just about that! They handle great and are really nice to drive too! As well as that mine was really well built too!

To be fair I haven't driven many hatches just lately so cant compare it to any, it just impressed me! Seemed like a much bigger car than it was!
