I'd go and have a shot of a diesel before dismissing them, great engines imo.

diesels cost more to modify opposed to petrol versions, but depends what journeys your doing as short journeys all the time wouldnt justify getting one, mite aswell get petrol as it takes longer for diesels to warm up and reach optimum efficency .. info.

Fukin at the diesel Bora beating a 355 comments.

In gear speeds of a tuned diesel make them quick.But not Ferrari 355 beating quick.

Have you read any of this thread? He said he won't be able to insure a petrol turbo, but he could a turbo diesel. The N/A petrol engines in the Bora are poor. With a TDi, (130 for example) with a remap, FMIC, zorst and filter he will see around 190bhp
