i love them, dead nice cars and i would love to own one but....
the have to many electronics and engines that require alot of money to get any power out of. then theres the handling which is too soft and understeery so until they become a cheap secondhand buy im not touching one.

Going on looks, I'm not too keen on them myself, they look nice like but when they come past you I just think they look average, never driven one or been in one so cant comment on speed or handling etc. I much prefer the Vectra VXR myself.

I wouldnt own one.
I understand the chav thing, its nothing to do with the people that drive them. Its like the styling, its a Astra with aggressive styled bumpers and big wheels, same goes for the Focus imo.

Tbh when the Vxr came out they were pretty good cars, a bit difference from previous Vauxhalls, excellent reviews across the board,
Coupled with the fact finance was readily available for any old chav in a nike tracksuit, thats why they have the status they do.
I'd own one, and Hopefully will.
I like the way everyone gets up in arms about being call a "Chav corsa owner"
Then openly say that Astra Vxr's are for chav's wtf?

well your car looks aggressive too and is low, does that means it's chavvy too?

I wouldnt say so, as its a purpous built car, not an Astra/Focus with a kit and bigger wheels.
Now the Focus has been brought into it, that would be my choice, in blue.
Edit: I know you was probably arsing around Ben, hence the but was just saying...

Tbh, I dont use the word Chav, has no meaning to me, I wouldnt say either of them where Chavvy, but as said I can see where it stems from...
Also... alot of young lads/scals/chavs/whatever have T5s round here, so to answer your question...

ANYWAY..... i'm off out to buy some Rockports and Trackies to tuck into my socks. I've seen a nice Sovereign ring in Elizabeth Duke too that I quite fancy.....
VXR's are definatley not for Chavs tho.
