Whats your fascination with high revving bikes (like your 20k 636 )

Twins don't rev high.

That tis spunkey. Soft spot for Aprillias. Good little bikes.

Only tip, be weary of the sidestand as they are meant to be quite poor any many people swap them for a Suzuki GSXR item (unsure if it effects that year of RSV).

Just trying to help. Don't want a new toy falling over.

Get a carbon can on it. Twins sound great with carbon, only problem is after a while it tends to blow through due to the resinating pulses the engines fires through the exhaust

Worth it for the extra thump

No it doesn't, he thought it did and we made fun of him by prodding him with a poo covered stick.

If it doesn't go above 15k revs it may aswell be a car!

If it gets any louder I think it will be banned from my folks garage.. Their pretty pissed off that me moving out didnt mean the bikes moved out too..

I hadn't heard of them falling over, just that the original stand made it sit really upright or is that what you mean?

Poor quality stands and they collapsed a lot.

Seems to be on most of the big litre Aprilia twins. Just normal Italian defect, there always has to be one on every italian car/bike. I think its legal obligation

If its been swapped, jsut check the bolts nice and tight still, and it should be absolutley fine

Yes really upright. My old RS125 was the same and a gust of wind caught it one day while parked on a camber. Just fell over . Luckly only got a scuffed bar end which was easily replaced

I did a good check of most bolts when I had fairinjgs off the other day. Only problem I found was a loose gear selector peg.. Will give the stand a good check later on.. Ta..

This has got a smaller front and bigger rear sprocket, I suspect I'll spend a fair few miles on the back wheel.. lol

Its got a few bits of carbon and I've just bought a carbon helmet to match it so I can look all matching for this year.. haha
