i would describe the car as 'very very clean' but not factory fresh - that's how i would want it.
£1000 on smoothing / custom bodywork and paint
£1000 on leather re-trim

perhaps sean... not sure yet - it all depends how much i have to play with once all the bits are gone
my only real requirements are that it has leather as standard and is not french. lol
i think when i do split most of the bits will end up on ebay - i've had so much interest and have no idea what people are willing to pay for these bits

As said, put back to standard. Sell the standard car for around the £1,000 mark. And you'll easily get another £1,000 for the parts!

I think people are bargain hunting too much. If you look on auto trader, ebay etc and look at what 1.6s are going for.

for a craphish one, 90k plus, £900.
One on there, yellow, 54k needs air con refilled £1200.
Are bargains to be had, I find the forums are the most expensive places, people seem totally unrealistic.

It's the opposite with this site though. MOST folk know realistically how much a car is worth, then the ones on PH and Autotrader etc are too high.
