anyhow i was thinking although not a corsa but an omega would be the best bet. as i mentioned the saab bellhousing bolt patern is the same as the vaux lumps so you could drop in and bolt up a saab lump to the omega transmission, make a couple of mounts wire and plumb it up and jobs a good un, ultimate sleeper? great drift car? im off to ebay to find a cheap one!

only thing thats makes it hard to fit is the sump is 100mm lower than a let.pretty much the same every other way. only thing that stopped us fitting is was we got the wrong bloody one. got a pre 93 one which has a different bellhousing pattern need to get a post 93 one to get it to fit. pretty gutted as it just sat here cant do anything with it.

also thought the sump would be an issue and if going rwd the throttlebody would point to the bulkhead!
thats the problem i have with every conversion ive looked at on my mr2 track car the sump would be just 20mm off the floor!
yep pre 93 is also the long block engine so even bigger and heavier!
i have a b204L (2.0 turbo) lying around, a loom ecu, and bits and bobs so ive got to put it into something!
