Back in 2004 (i think it was) I have a 1.4 8v Flair (the spi engine of the SRi)
t cost me £1450 to insure FC on my own.

i payed 1300£ fire and the theft on a group 10 106 xsi when i was 17 on my own policy.

i did 900quid tpft with asda would not insure me the 2nd year tho i was 17 at the time

1.2 8v in my own name was £1600 at 17 so anything around that mark for a 1.4 sport and i'd rip their hands off
