All the STI's come with red inlet manifolds and unless looked after they do peel!

Mine wasn't too bad on the P1 to be honest! Easy enough to re-paint it but the manifold itself is a ball ache to get off if I remember rightly! Worth putting some spacers on too to remove some of the heat soak while its off too!

I sold my 1998 CAS prepped type r which was a beasty for £5200 , that was running 410bhp . Great cars and excellent fun. Only thing is the mantainance was expensive, servicing it all the time, tyres etc.
If i had of had enough money i would of kept it, fastest car i have ever drove to date , and i have drove some nice cars sl55, 911 996 , m3 etc.
that guy seems like he is bullshitting about the car and the prices he is quoting are way out.

anyone know what an egsuast is? and why would the £150 fitting cost add to the value of a car?
how do these people get the money to buy such nice cars and i very much doubt they can drive them .

Top mount intercooler is fine on a standard / lightly modded car! What problems did you have with the top mount on your last Impreza?
Calm down, everyone knows they are crap, they are only there because its cheap and easy.

Calm down? At what point did I become un-calm?
Sorry pal but I'm afraid you don't know shit and I cant help but say something! The intercooler is perfectly adequate for a standard/lightly modded car!!! Do you really think Subaru put it on, did all that testing then said "well its shit really but lets leave it there!!"
Like I said, I want to hear your personal problems with YOUR Subaru top mount or did your dads brothers, mates, cousins husbands work friend have a problem with his?
