Its not all about keeping it that clean. Once the whole car is cleaned, polished and protected, the wax/sealant then makes it easier to keep on top of the car and easier to clean.
With a few coats of wax, you can actually clean a car without even touching it by using snow foam and a pressure washer.

As said already, great for cars like Porsche, but wasted on anything less, more so on 'daily' cars.

Never really thought about it before, but do you notice the Porsche meet is a more 'matured' crowd?

Of course it is. You're not going to have heaps of young loons in 911s turning up the these sort of events. The majority of the members seem to be going a bit thin on top. I think i'd fit right in, and i'm only 22 .
I'm not denying that there are a lot of young Porsche owners these days, but very few of them join the Porsche club because they are hardcore Porsche fans. These days, the majority of them join for the social side of things.
Don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of genuine 911 fans out there, but they tend to be 993 (or earlier) model owners.

The people that the PCGB (Porsche Club Great Briatin) meet at Polished Bliss attracted were a great bunch whom I got on very well with even considdering the age difference. They were also a very genourous group, as i mentioned before, becuase they raised £1000 for a local charity.
Not forgetting that it was my brother and his business partner (Rich Cooper) who basically worked for free for 35+ hours to help raise the money.

The more car club days like this they get-the better

Yeah, I just never really thought about it before. Same thing kind of happens at seatcupra meets, the young 'uns have Ibiza's and the oldies have the leons!

If the owner had to pay for that work, how much would all that have set him back? Impressive stuff.

I don't know if that would have been classed as a minor or a major paint correction detail so either £595 + VAT or £895 + VAT, and since it had Zymol Vintage, another £100 on top of that.

Heres their price list and a breakdown of what they do...

Sorry if its already been asked, but how much does it cost to do that to a car? My car is quitea dark colour so these swirl marks seem to really show up when you look at it from certain angles.

See, I think that was worthwhile as it's made the car look better than new again. Some people are just mad though.
