993 Turbo for me for a weekend car. For a track car it would be a GT3RS.

I think i'd go for the 996 GT3 RS in that case...... I like the 996 GT3 RS a lot more than a 996 Turbo.

2005 997 C2's are can be had from £30k now. I think id go for one of those. Sure its fine to dream over a turbo/GT3 but unless your minted you'd get a carrera really, wouldnt you......

997GT2 for me

My step brothers got one, its the fastest thing ive ever been in, you think you have been in a fast car then you get in something like that and suddenly anything else you get in feels slow and awkward!

He had a 997 GT3 too and a turbo but they werent in the sam league as the GT2.

I love how this thread has gone from a £25k porsche to a £120k one

25 JET is an awesome looking car though. The number plate is a nice touch.

One hooligan car because you'll lose that much you'll need to keep it for 10 years at which time you'll want something for all the kids.

Porsche convertible looks almost sensible when you consider what both cars will lose.

Although I don't really want to promote any further debate with you, you're worse than me and Australian 8 cylinder coupes.

Mmmmm well the mk1 FRS would argue against that. If I wanted to loose money on a hot hatch id be talking about getting an Megan R26R or Astra VXR-R!

I think the Focus would be more fun to drive/own just now, theres always time later on for a big fat lazy 911.

Yup im not saying I want a 911 (that was last month ) but if I had to buy one thats what id get over any 993/996 of any description in the price range!!
