i was pulled over for my plates about 2 months ago.
lady coppers were rude and pointed out that i needed 'a postcode' on my plates. (said nothing about how small they were lol)
she also mentioned how 'someone with your name is wanted' - i actually laughed at her lol
i went with the flow as i didn't want to draw attention to the fact my plates were tiny - so she checked my details and let me off...
but before they got back in their car, i was like 'you do realise your headlight bulb is out don't you?' - the look on their faces was PRICELESS
i took down their reg and phoned their station to complain about 5 mins later
owned.

I wouldn't say all cops are wankers but there are a few bad apples so to speak.
I'd definately report it if that was the only reason why he pulled you over...

I once got pulled over for laughing at a copper and singing to Power Ballads at the top of my voice. True Story.

unlucky mate there are some serious idiots out there.
Have any of you done the following as it really gets on thier nerves.
You know where they ask you to get out and have a look at a default or just to talk, and someone goes for a wonder around your car, do the same to theres, i did it must of been last friday night actually after work. And i noticed he had a rear light out, should of heard his voice, where are you going sir?? "just checking your car for defaults like you are for mine".

Why not just leave it? Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe it was a genuine mistake? Police are human too so its feasible that maybe he just got it wrong.

If so why was it the fact he said " young drivers own the road " and his general attitude.
If you take a job such as the police you should be able to forget all that nonsence, thats what the yare supposed to be trained for ?

To be honest, I just never believe these stories. Out of my years of driving I have never been pulled over for nothing. People on here are getting pulled every week, seemingly 'for nothing' There is always 2 sides to the story.
Plus you probably annoyed him by pointing out his sidelight, which isn't his fault as I'd imagine in this PC world we live in he won't be allowed to carry out any maintenance on the police car.
But hey yeah, fuck him he's just trying to make an honest living. I hope the twat loses his job!

It's always people in modded corsas that get pulled for nothing, must be being victimised
I lost my pulled virginity a couple of weeks ago, booted it up the right hand side past a load of cars at a set of traffic lights that has 2 lanes then into one straight after the lights.
I hadn't noticed the marked panda car that had been following me for a mile up the road
I think they pulled me more because they thought i'd seen them and was trying to do a runner than my driving.
Checked my details then sent me on my way, took all of 2 minutes.

if you pointed out to him that he had a light out, he was not allowed to drive that car untill the car was fixed.
When i pointed the same to a copper, he had to report back to the station he had a light out, and someone cam out to fix it for him.

I was pulled 6 times in my first 5 months of driving. I had a Nova SRi so it does have the boyracer image.
The copper said to me one time that he would check all the tread on the tyres etc. I said feel free they're brand new wheels and tyres and have been on a matter of days. I felt awesome

I was on my way home from birmingham a few weekends ago and police were stopping nearly everyone and checking their cars over and i was one of the unlucky ones to get pulled . The officer went round my car looking for stuff, eventually he said "Did you know your number plates are illegal" I said No (which i never) I've ahd them on since June '08 never been pulled until now", he then said "Well i can read them ok so it;s fine, off you go". To say the least i was bloody confused so i've just left them on.

I am sure the police would have that attitude if you drove past with you headlight/sidelight/rear light whatever light it is out
They just victimise people
One followed me last night until i got to a dual carruiage way - probably because it was an 09 plate
He puleld up along side me. I just give it a bit from the lights and then proceeded to drive right up behind me
Just bell ends - no respect for them what so ever

I had a right arse hole pull me over when I first passed my test. Spoke to me and my friend who was in the car with like we were shit on his shoe So rude it was unreal. His reason for pulling me over was because the car was drawing to much attention..wtf? just as he let me go he goes "oh yeah expect to get pulled over again later driving a car like that!" No need for it imo. But all the other police I have spoken to have been sound, helpful etc

i was pulled and given hassle by the police for not having insurance, they where absoloute shitcunts. They thought i was dealing drugs because my car was in a beauty spot car park in the dark. I was out walking with a lady friend around the lake which aparently is a crime. It was daylight when we got there (may evening)
Copper said it was "convinient" my insurance company where closed when he tried ringing them (at around 11pm ) was rude and condesending, i was polite and courteous and seem to enrage him that i hadnt done anything wrong.
Gave me a producer and sent me on my way.
Produced docs 10am next morning all fine and legal (shocker)
6months later? Court summons.
Retards. Not all, but some are fucking useless humans. 2 people round my way who are coppers are both coke heads.
Little respect. However, im sure its a minority in the force.
