newish clio's like 51 plate seem to be pretty popular with women so do newish fiestas the mark 6/7. zetec s tdci in black would probably be a good suggestion mate

Screw the SR and get a T Sport. My missus has one as her first car and the insurance is well under £1000 FC. Quicker than a 1.6 Sport, handle well as standard, FANTASTIC gearbox, as reliable as a mountain. Sound fucking gay though But it really is great to drive and you'll get a minter for well under 6k

I'm pretty sure that it's a 9! That said though, it's cheaper for her to insure that than it would have been for a C 1.4 SRi  Depends on the car! It'll easily get 40-45mpg with a bit of stick, town driving then motorway munching. All round I honestly can't fault it except that fucking queer hairdryer noise it makes!
