Quads are THE most dangerous things on the road IMO.
Putting a 170bhp engine in it really wouldn't improve the situation.
Stupid fast, but thats even out of my league.

Quads look cool, but IMHO are completely pointless unless you are using it for what they were designed for (mud plugging)..
I've ridden a few high power 2wd road quads and while they feel really fast they are a damn sight slower than the equivilient cc bike and they corner like shit.

You know the "avin in large" types who bomb around with no skid-lids as the law means they don't need to, are gonna end up coming off, fast, and loosing limbs, skin and such.

Some of my mates have got Quads and the laugh at me because when I have a blast I wear my gloves, jacket and lid!
I think part of the fascination is that they feel soooooooooo fast compared to a bike, at 80 you feel like you are doing 180!

Depends how its set up. There was a quad called the krauser. 500cc 2 stroke iirc and in the 90's it lapped silerstone faster than the touring cars of that time
