Autoglym super resin polish and pick up whatever wax looks good while you're in halfords, that'll get you by just fine without spending loads of money.

Dash - Poorboys Natural Look Dressing or even just use a weak all purpose cleaner and leave it natural.
Scratches - As said before either get somebody to look at machine polishing it for you, or mask it with a filling polish - either Autoglym Super Resin or Poorboys Black Hole. To make it far easier to clean in the future, follow the polish with a long lasting wax - something like Collinite 476s which will last for around a year.

basically the last owner really lookoed after it and polished it quite often as ive never done it since i got it and it still fair shines for 10 year old paintwork. i reckon the scratches are my sponge attempt at washing it as theyre not that deep at all. one on the door was there when i bought it. is a little bit deeper. thats the one im wanting rid of the most.
i know a small man that used to be a valeter at bmw i think he has a machine polisher. will have to ask him.

theyre ok. not amazing but theyre a big car. i can keep up with my mates 106gti to 60 then i just gradually pull away. they handle alright really. use fair bit of fuel round town but overall i think theyre nice to drive, quite comfy.
and yeah, i fitted a k plus n to mine month ago. noise is random indeed. can get pre-facelift gsi's about 1500 ish and facelift for about 2k.

Best thing to do with light scratches.. or even deep ones as long as it hasnt gone thru the paint your alright. get some 2000 grade paper. rub the scratches down gently then use some compound polish ( i use nano tech from turtleWax its gritty enough) then if you can get a buffer, buff it out or if only little ones u can do it by hand but wouldnt get as briliant job as a buffer.
see that sounds a bit too complicated for me compared to normal polish.
suppose, if u do the whole car, it gives u a showroom finish.. and it looks amazing! keeps ur car protected for weeks! lol polished mine a couple of weeks ago, still shiny!

My Elite has been sat on the drive for a month now, not moved, not washed... Still has a full tank of fuel too
Still, does look alreet Dashboard I'd just use some dash polish or something, had good results with some foamy stuff in the past myself.

Shame the Offset is wrong, otherwise I'd say get some late-Facelift MV6 alloys on there from an Omega

this used to have 19's on before i bought it. sold them seperately and fired a cheap set of wheels on to sell the car.
