7 lessons - 12 1/2 hours
Passed theory full marks first time, test first time (3 minors)

I cant remember how many lessons i had was sept to january though, and passed first time with 10minors most for hesitating and not overtaking people on a dual carriage way.

Over 40hrs with no other car to drive

Passed 2nd time with 1 minor.

First time I failed because I was shitting myself. And to give you an idea of how nervous I was, I ended up facing the same way after doing a 3 point turn

That's the only reason I had so many, didn't have a car I could get insured on.

Plus the fact my instructor was taking the piss a bit and the lessons were paid for for a birthday present.

Nope I was an apprentice mechanic and learned to drive by driving cars onto ramps

Very good for learning clutch control, did all manouvering at the garage.

probably ended up with about 20ish hours with the instructor and countless hours with my dad. passed first time with 5 minors

5 or 6 hour lessons
lots of driving

passed theory test on my birthday
passed driving test 1st time just under 3 months later

would have been 3 weeks earlier if they hadnt cancelled my test due to a little frost on the road

absolutely pointless thing to do!

think i got about 7 or 8 minors
