i like the 98 spec jdm wheels, they nice on an ek9

yeah lee the standard profile is 55, its advan tyres just now so will see how they fare and maybe get some 16s, made a difference to my last one.

well all the bits to stroke it to a 1.8 and 205bhp are about 1k, itb's about 400, cams springs blah blah about 800, then misc bearings shells, then you need management.

yeah joe, would've liked an s3 but nobody on pistonheads decided they wanted a dc5

indeed, rocker looks brand new. if its been repainted then you must find out which paint they used

quick question, are all the strut braces red as standard?

yeah the rocker cover and strut brace are red fleck stuff standard. the rear has a lower brace under the car but none on the strut tops, dc2 has a rear one?



that was my 97 ek9's engine bay, not quite as nice.

can't think if the DC2 has a lower one off the top of my head, i seem to remember it has, the strut-top one was an optional extra, perhaps the same for the EK9?

nah ek9s never came with the top rear ones, you have to cut the boot plastics to fit them.

0-60 in 5.7, its a 1.6 with 185bhp, but the 5.7 figure is debated saying it was a lighter model that set it blah blah, its still bloody quick.
