is it the "O" rings on the injectors or? surely you can get new injectors for not much more than that?

new injectors for around £100 i think, but you dont know how long they have been sitting around, so id personally have some sent off and rebuilt and tested for £45..

it just uses abit more fuel then it should.

it smells of fuel yes being down to injector seals as you said O rings..

not sure on chassis mate, honestly do not now, but it went though the mot october..

b pillars have minor cracks in paint, nothing bad though, seen alot worse on newer corsas..

Problems when people are selling cars are always only a tenner, only 15 quid.

If you think the problem is only £45 to fix it would be much much much better paying that and not having to list it as a bad point.

Either that or price the car below rock bottom which for your car is about a quarter of what you are asking.

im going to sort the bits, have it on show at PVS so everyone can see its a very nice example and then put it up forsale..

around my b'day then so guess i can ask the rents to help get a new car...

It's a 13/14 year old corsa with cracked b pillars and a problem that means it stinks of fuel, doesn't matter what lights and wheels it's got unless you get that 1 person in the country that'll put up with the faults.

Got to agree with john here. IMO your car is not worth £2k. You can get mint corsa sports ( 1.6 16v ) alot newer than yours, lower milage for a grand. I know what i'd buy if i had the money.

and there is no real evidence its the injectors, its like people that sell cars with missfires, "all it needs is spark plugs" if that was the case youd buy them simple as that.

Excatly. If it's £45 injector O rings, why hasn't he dipped his hands in his pockets & sorted them out? I bet it's more than O rings otherwise they would have been replaced, petrol fumes can't be good either.

If it was completely mint it's still not worth a grand.
