Aye, someone on here said to me recently (sorry, forgot who ) that high revs are more efficient. Probably a certain range is most efficient though.

True. 4.5krpm would not be economical in a 12v.

Not necessarily high revs but your engine will be more efficient in a certain rev range instead of just sitting struggling at low revs.

To be fair, if your asking about mpg, it normally is a given that you are being very pedantic about miles and fuel - therefore giving two wrong options doesn't really help does it?
