But Graham, the full leather/half leather seats in the facelifts look fantastic. Are the pre-facelifts the same seats but mainly cloth?!
Also, ift so
Indeed they do, that's why I'm trying to source some half leather black seats, hard to find though so may be a while! Not sure if they are the same seats but they are cloth.

Lovely Graham, kid at work has one which looks great lowered, debadged and with Xenons.
My plans too, minus de-badge, well not Zetec S part at least, that badge is important

A guy I photograph gets through loads of ST parts if you're ever after some. Not really sure what is different between the Zetec and ST, but he is often flogging off bits and pieces (seats, interior, lights etc.)

Naaa because they're probably all red and fancy. What it does equal is no void warranty ;-)

Yeah it's not bad mate. I wouldn't say it's fast, but definetly nippy.
Driving a 1.6 is so different to a 1.4, so much easier getting up hills etc. Whoever thinks driving smaller engined cars when you're young is safer, is wrong.
Thing handles aswell, well impressed.

Nice motor, I read the 1.6 Zetec S and the Diesel handle better than the ST due to more compliant suspension - makes sense on day to day driving roads, mint colour too

Is yours a diesle Graham? If so £35 a year tax?
What power do the diesels put out standard and then rempapped/chipped?

Diesels are 88bhp but 150lb-ft torque which is 10 more than the 2.0ST. With remap they make over 100bhp.

The facelift and pre-facelift are exactly the same engine wise. Just the lights changed, bump strips changed and interior changed (plus some other bits). A facelift without half or full leather is rarer than one with cloth.

I prefer the pre-facelift exterior and facelift interior. Can't beat them leather seats. Updated dash and heater & stereo console as well I think

Looks really nice.. Colour looks darker than mine... Newish fords are just a different league compared to vauxhalls etc.. Fiesta compared to similair age corsa is no comparison.

Quite a few on AutoTrader under £6k now hardly any diesels though. They hold their value too well
