I've got £300 Tesco bills I could show you to the contrary
It's not tight, it's just spending it in ingenious ways. Key rings are nice, but they're not ingenious.

a CS tax disk holder might be nice (even a little shop?).
Keyrings tend to get battered and then lost on my keys, pens and shit are just taky.
Keep the BBQ and save the "join us" crap for another board IMO

Was gonna say, on rallye register you get 3 free stickers, a tax disc holder, loads of omp stickers, and a membership card for £15!

neither would a corsasport tax disc holder/keyring then ? your point ?
its the same deal for when we do non corsasport events (ie the weekend racer ones) but we need to put alot of effort into the site, and time is something Ian/Willay and myself just havent got at the moment

well you're all for having a great sodding bbq every year but 2 fingers to everyone else? even if it was just corsasport stickers for each premium member then its a bit fairer than 2 rolls and bacon for whoever goes to pvs.
ps. i dont want any corsasport sticker, just my opinion on whats better overall.

You are a member on cliosport for a year though, and it's not a very good forum.

no, but i was under the impression that you wanted a corsasport branded something else instead ? which has turned out to be incorect
IMO (and not Ians/corsasports) we could send out key rings/tax disc holders to members, which say 50% dont even own a corsa
or use money that would have bought keyrings to use a trailer and supply tea/coke/lunch for everyone at corsasport and non corsasport events, which we have done in the past and will do again
when you consider that current gets done 3 times a year, for £12.50 + the other benifits, i think its real world cost far outweighs a crappy keyring etc
just my thoughts

in crowd = people who approachable? What a crock of shit.
Lets not forget the money also goes towards keeping the site running on our own hardware, rackspace and bandwidth. CS isnt some shitty free forum running on shitty buggy software and shared server/bandwidth that goes down often.

keyring, stickers, whatever, thats not the point.
my point is, this site has what, 30,000 members, how many are premium? and what percentage of that premium membership goes to pvs or whatever. i for one don't and continue to support the site every year. i could easily host my pics elsewhere. if 100 people a year get some grub thats great, but i feel the other 97% of premium members should be getting something, whatever it be.
unless you want to send me a bacon buttie in the post of course. then i'll be happy

i approached everyone at pvs one year, introduced myself, then the tumbleweed rolled by and everyone carried on regardless. not even a "how was your journey".
not saying everyone would be like that but just my experience.

Please u2u me your address
i do see your point, and im 100% sure people like yourelf and everyone elses membership are very highly valued, but im not sure what else a corsasite can offer, in the long run thats why WR came about, to keep everyone in despite lack off corsa ownership, its just needs alot of work as i said

I always find it strange that people say they felt left out. When i cam in my first year the only person id met in person was Whittie and he got stopped at the gate with all his bottles of beer so i was left on my own.
I just introduced myself to anyone and everyone, within a few hours willay was cooking my sausages (still in the packet) on a crap bbq and tom simes was giving me a ride (not literally) on the bumper cars. Id never even spoke to either of them before pv.
