i always thought that the 180 model was the same as my ZR engines just tuned that little bit more to get 20bhp out of it. the same 1.8 VVC K series engine but it would seem reading this thread i would be wrong.....worth more investigation imo.

A ZS 180 won't have headgasket problems As Wrighty already said, it's the horrendously designed K Series headgasket that goes. So basically any ZR can go. But the ZS 180 engine is a KV6 so doesn't have the same issues. My mate has one and it sounds great. Goes surprisingly well (It'll be about the same as your GTi in a straight line until very illegal speeds) and they do handle really well for a Rover 45! As said though, expect bits of interior to just fall off.

Every other ZS (except the diesel) had the K series like yours The V6 though is different. For a start it has more cylinders

these worth getting then? the one I seen was very nice, nice leather interior, can't be any worse made than peugeot.... its just a mg
