tbh if you want a cheaper car, go all the way in terms of a cheaper car i.e. new shape Fiesta ZS I know you was talking about.
The cambelt service intervals are enough to put me off Clio's!
60k or 5 years, whats unusual about that?
It's a lot of scaremongering on cliosport anyway.
Also agree with jr, if you like driving your turbo you'll hate the way the clio drives, never ever feels fast.

40,000miles and the £400 bill

The bill for the cambelt is a joke, it's still a lot of scaremongering on cliosport though, it's no more or less likely to go than on any other car.

No ben come to the world of tec
Although seriously they are ace little cars I came so close to buying a racing blue one with white turinis, best combo ever

As said there are two cup packs avalible
One is spoilers and splitters
the other is
anthracite wheels and different geomentry and lower stiffer sus
Ones with both are called "full fats"
Or you can get cup versions which have the good suspension and are lighter. But you dont get climet xenons and leather etc
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

Was for a good price too but couldnt justify going all the way to cheshire to see it. In the mean time I came across my civic so got that.
Yer the cup is a lighter more "focussed" version. Ie less toys
Dont think you would notice much difference in the drive 99% of the time compared to one with all the toys and the packs.

I wouldn't bother with a 'Cup' car Ben..
The toys are so much nicer to have daily
