Anywhere really unless the cost of travel was worth more than the car.... And seller willing to "take it off sale" while en route!

Mate of mine was half way to see a car only to get a call saying it was sold !!!

I did a 500mile round trip for my BMW so I think you should go anyway because you might regret it if you dont.
P.S what wheels are they on your M3? they are deliteful.

I went on a 300mile round trip for my Ibiza, as its a Sport its pretty rare. My dad took me, he does about 120miles a day in his Fabia VRs so he didn't use much fuel (I paid for it). What we did was to plan the whole day for it, so you can chill and take it easy, plan in a few stops, take some food.

Also the guy I bought my Ibiza off, was sound, he stopped about 3 or 4 other people from buying it, just because I was prepared to go so far for it and I showed so much interest, he knocked my fuel costs off the price

I drove a 450 mile trip to see a *mint* Corsa GSI XE with my mate a couple of years ago, all the pictures looked great, all the info from the lad was sound so we headed up with the cash.

When we got there it turned out that the car was stuck in a garage as it wasn't running, the lad was such a bad gimp that even the garage was sick of him and had abanded the car on the road where most of the kit had been robbed. The car would barely run and had no gears !

The lad expected my mate to buy it for the asking price and drive it home another 450 miles !

Never again !

piss them off by asking them many questions, if they are lying, then they are bound to admit it; we went to look at a "mint" honda civic, was meant to be top spec, was actually bottom of the range and was shit condition so that was a 400 mile round trip wasted.

Any distance if it's a garage.

Not that far if it's private.

I'm considering flying from northern ireland to the other side of scotland for an arden blue corsa sport with 48k......could be the best or the worste idea I'v ever had. I think your better regretting something you have done than something you haven't!
