Why the fuck do you want to put a number plate in the rear window? Look like a complete and utter knob doing that IMO, same with one in the front windscreen.

Why not simply leave it where it was when the car left the factory?
I'd love to see what the disgners think. "Oh yeah, behind a misty window is FAR better than on the bootlid and well lit..."

Cos there's no-where to mount the front reg properly.
So cable ties on the road it is, or in the windowscreen on D5
And its no attention thing, and Donna does not look like a nob

"(3) This paragraph requires the plate to be fixed—
(a) vertically or, where that is not reasonably practicable, in a position as close to the
vertical as is reasonably practicable,
(b) in such a position that in normal daylight the characters of the registration mark are
easily distinguishable from every part of a relevant area having the diagonal length
specified in paragraph (4)."
there is nothing saying that it is illegal, it just depends on the person who pulls you over really
the full thing is here - http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2001/uksi_20010561_en.pdf

part b, and behind the windscreen makes it illegal. as light reflecting off the glass will make the letters un-readable at times. which according to that isnt legal.

in normal daylight it isnt too bad, just depends on the officer who stops you
for a temp. measure it should be fine but not for a long term thing
was stopped for mines ages ago, explained why it was in the window and there were no problems, so really does depend
