Everybody keeps telling him how easy it is to change the cable, its only easy if you know how.

Anyone want to walk him through it and see if he feels like taking a go?

a clutch cable isnt hard if you were to do it yourself, but if you dont have the confidence get somebody else to do the job,if you go to a garage 10 miles away and your nearest is round the corner go to the closest one!! it dosnt exactly need braines to change a clutch cable im sure any car garage will have the skills to do that for you

You can tow it there, I towed my old SRi from Baldock services back to Potton via Sandy, the only thing we had happen is the tow rope snapped, cos it was fraied, so we had to get my new one out.

I think Deano had a problem with them a while back.
Plus, they ain't that cheap. They want £120 to lower my Corsa on just springs and I hear thats a little dear.

The problem is that any garages around here are quite big, so are just going to charge 1 hour flat rate. Where I need to take it is where I've been before, it's a 1 man and his garage and he'll charge hardly anything for fitting.
