What everone fails to remember is Iaz isn't a profesional
It was a hobby, so I think the finish of the bodwork was just fine for who done it.
Shame to see it breaking

It was good for what it did - get trailored to shows & win awards.
It was never going to make it as a car being drove on the roads - it was just destined to fall apart & I think Iaz got good money for it considering this!!

i know what your saying but to be fair you could drive it around etc, mine was pretty much the same and had the 20's and was driven often without it falling to bits, yeh little cracks etc appeared but didnt drop to bits like people make them out to do....

Don't have the slightest interest in kitted cars and stuff but I must admit Iaz's progress threads on that and other cars were the best threads i've read in general chat on here, shame to see all the work go to waste.

This is my point, it wasn't a proper show car.
Take it to Europe and it would be flamed. Not for the extreme of the bodystyling, thats personnal choice, but the finish of the work, the lack of quality in the paint, the smoothness of the bodyfiller.
It was a trailored showcar, yet the quality was never great and IMO never warranted being a "show winner" as the quality wasn't very good.
Depends if your "max power" or "enthusiast" I guess. There were much lesser cars on here that the quality was far superiour, but as they didn't have mentally large wheels, smoothed in boot etc, they were never considered "show winners".
Im not flaming it, just saying.
Max Power or Total Vauxhall, the latter liking quality over quantity.

just seen them pics, its quite sad if it was not so messed up i would buy it vack and get it back to former glory! its not even got the nice wheels it had on, not got the 5 studd adapaptors etc!
i did most fo the bodywork not very well now i look back at it and a "professional" did the finishing off of the bodywork and the paintjob, paintjob was rushed and should have had more coated of laquer to get over the flakes! flakes were in a the time and long past it now!
i loved the car when it was on its black and stainless wheels! with airbags it woudl or could have been practical! maybe get teh lambo doors off also cos they were rubbish!
hew pics how it was

i know its not the fashion but but thats 5 years ago now i was doing the car!

140dB is like sticking your ear next to a jet engine, 180dB is roughly the loudness of the space shuttle on launch. Now a 250dB sound system....hmmm

Best place for it tbh
Fucking shocking car, if you're gonna put that much effort in at least build something decent
"But a lot of work went into it....etc" - who gives, a lot of effort went into my shit that I popped out earlier but still wasn't a work of art
Tried....failed....move on

You're basing this statement on your personal opinion of the aesthetics or the quality of the build which you saw first hand?

But it did win stuff iirc, so if it did, as usual, people must disagree with your opinion daimo

Okay well all I remember is everyone loved it at the time and wanted to spunk over it.
I have always hated it and will continue to do so as show cars are not for me and could never see the pint of fitting a big engine in something that handles worse than my nans mobility scooter and has to bee driven round so carefully to avoid damage.

That doesn't make sense
End of the day, he said himself it was rushed and could have been better
Effort doesn't always correlate with quality, this is a prime example
