Sideways cos he was showing off, broken cos he'd stalled it and has to start it from the rear with a screwdriver

Lmao @ some of the people commenting on my driving based on DHDev putting up two totally loaded sets of pictures of it.
If he put up pictures of the 50-60 or so times I went round the hairpin, you would find that about 30, it was a great drift on the way out, a few times I spun out pushing it and finding its limits, and the rest I was just trying different lines without sliding.
For those who want to comment, at least have a look at an actual video of what I was driving it like.
Here's one:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4S8O-Eoaprw
Its the first time ive driven the car in anger since I totally redesigned the rear suspension with homemade rosejointed arms and mk4 struts etc, and the first outing on the new engine.
I was there to learn about its handling, and that involves overcooking it now and then, thats what trackdays are for IMHO, it certainly beats doing it up the highstreet at those speeds (was doing 70mph when I spun it in those pics)
Id imagine most people commenting havent ever even been on a track, what with this being a site mostly full of spotty kids, LOL

Chip - it's not that, i spoke to you and your a sound chap. but when youve got a que of 6 - 7 cars behind you which happened on a fair few occasions and you seemed very reluctant to move, it gets a tad annoying for others.

chip i very much appreciate you side of the say, and my comment may have been better with a smiley or something to show the more lighthearted side of it, as i don't imagine a short wheel base rear heavy RWD car is at all easy to drive
but then again you have made a sweeping statement (as some did on here about you on track) without really knowing what peoples abilities or track knowledge or experience is on here
6 of one, half a dozen...................

I kept moving over mate, but if the person at the front of the queue doesnt then take the chance to get past, it holds others up.
At no stage did I ever hold anyone up for more than a couple of corners as far as im aware, and I was checking my mirrors constantly, as im used to being one of the fastest ones out on track on trackdays normally and I know how frustrating it is when slowers cars done let others past, so I tend to treat others as I like to be treated.

I didnt mean on a ps2 mate, I meant a few dozen track days in real life at least to get an idea for what does and doesnt happen.
Which I doubt more than 1% of the users of this site have done.
Which is fine, but then maybe they should just stick to posting about things they have done, lol
