I saw that the other night, proper cool

Just put my postcode in the location thing so hopefully that'll make me show up now. I think the Oxford number was 4 last time and it's 10 now so it probably worked

It gave the option for my village which is cool, but it's so small anyone with enough time on their hands could come round and find my car quite easily and tbh Tomtom is all the stalker I need.

That's what it's there for - to indicate where the people are and how the regions can become more active. If it identifies trends then the next step is identifying solutions.

When I first set the regions up I had considered DE to be more further west than the edge of CV so I put it there. Plus it is adjacent to the busiest part of West Mids as it is. The same isn't true if it were moved.

I can't reveal names. My suggestion is to discuss it in a regional thread and invite people to u2u or reply in there.

And they're stretched over a rather large area. No reason why you can't continue working on it, it's just going to be a challenge for that region.

I get how the dots are people, but why are they grey and blue bits, and how come some are larger than others?

Also I reckon it would be cool if there were lines for the edges of hte postcode regions if you know what I mean

The postcode is never revealed so it doesn't really matter what you put in there. The location name can either be given to you by Location Services and you can choose district or county or you can just go in to your profile and set it to whatever you want manually. Obviously you should only disclose here what you are comfortable doing.

Grey is inactive, blue is active going on the last 60 days. The size is the number of people. Blue dots of three or more people are labelled. I'm still working on how the stuff is displayed as there are overlaps and things which are not ideal.

The region I organise has a total of 33 people Chris.

We had a meet in November, and I'm currently thinking of locations or activities to do in late January or early February.

Plenty can be done mate, at our last meet there were only 5 of us there, but I know two guys that travelled over 80 miles to join us that night.

Ahh, cheers. Well it look like it's coming along well

Tom - at the last SC MK meet there were 4 people About 40 miles for me though so not quite as hard core.

Plus if you're worried about numbers, remember that in 2000 there was a meet with 28 people there - there were less than a thousand registered on the board worldwide.

So 30 people who have actually registered their postcode and have been online in the last two months actually looks quite good!
