Did the van have a full load?
CTR looks very mashed up for rear end hit.

would be worth finding out what scrap yard that Type R is going to... Full engine / gearbox conversion could be got from that.

99.9% a write off I should think.
The damage to the B, C pillars and the roof makes that a 100% write off, I wouldn't want something that fooked to be repaired and put back on the road, I'd rather get another one which shouldn't be too hard given time as it looks pretty standard - just wait for a black minter to come up.
At least your mate is ok (relatively speaking)

That highlights the morning after doesn't it
There was loads of people including myself that have got completley wankered last night. I expect a lot of them have just been jumping in the car this morning and heading off to work. I have the week off luckily .
Your mate is lucky he was driving a CTR, they are a bit tougher and that looks one hell of an impact. Shame it will ruin his xmas with the whiplash though.

Belive it or not the van was almost empty, The van drive was driving so fast at the time of impact to cause all the damage.

Yep, I was wankered last night and I got my dad to give me a lift into work this morning, I'm in no fit state to drive at all.

I'd want to kill the van driver with my bear hands the drunken wanker.
No excuse for drink driving, my boss turned round to me and said I'd rather you worked from home and didn't drive in if you was over the limit.
