Looking to upgrade my m3 and ZM roadster to one practical convertible which wont be used a great deal; was going to go for an m3 convertible as ticked all the boxes......but this!! Was offered a fairly good price trade in on mine and once the ZM was sold it wouldnt need much on top!!!!

Resisted the urge today, so thought i would run an insurance quote to put me off thinking it would be sky high.........but........was £150 cheaper than the m3 Then i switch on Dave and they are reviewing a 911 carerra 2 on there!!!!!

And i was trying to be sensible!!!!

Personally speaking, i'd say run a mile and don't do it.

I can see the M3 being a superior car.

I've not driven an E46 M3 but i've driven a number of E46 3 series and they all drove beautifully, even the couple that were in shit order, so the M3 must sensibly be even better.

I've driven that exact model of drophead 911 but in silver and in my considered opinion it was remarkably dreadfull on all fronts and surprisingly slow.

I was shocked to see the state of the underside of the vehicle too, especially in comparison to earlier 911s and other Porsche models.

Just thought i'd stick my unbiased oar in for what it's worth.

I'd love that, preferably in silver with standard wheels, but I wouldn't complain either way.

One of almost certainly, only a handfull of decent things that ayrton senna did/contributed towards in his lifetime.
