as ive said above ive just started a job in a call centre, im on probation for the first 3 months, and obviously im sure this could effect me getting the job once ive done the 3 months, plan was just to have today off and get better but im worse and cant talk or stand up without being sick so its useless being there. any laws or something against getting the sack if your ill? should i get a drs note just incase i cant make it for the next 2 days? (i know its usually a week but it doesnt look good.

I'd go and see your boss will and explain you are not too well and that it could effect your performance but you will struggle through.

Hope i don't get it. My sister has it and i always drop her off at work in the morning She can go in the boot i think

Cant guarantee or anything, but a lot of work/research go into identifying the world epidemics of influenza viruses etc isolating the most common ones and developing a vaccine. So yes, you are still at risk from other less common viruses but in terms of the ones that everyone has got this time of year in the UK you're laughing.

I had mine a few months back and since, all my friends have had man flu and I have as yet been feeling tip top. Equally, your GP gets paid a fair bit for giving you it. Everyones a winner!

I'm just getting over mine - I've had the following:
- Sinus pains
- Fever
- Blocked / runny nose
- Really bad cough (even to the point where I coughed up blood)
- Took a few days off and had beechams - cold and flu tablets

Now all I have is a bad cough

Anywhere really, It's IntraMuscular or Deep Sub-Cut tissue, so any part of you where there is muscle under fat, tends to be arms, your ass, thighs etc.

The pain after is largely a factor of a volume of liquid being inside your muscle where it isn't meant to be before it dissipates.

Yes. Hence new flu jabs every year to fight off evolving and changing virus.
So not a 'cure' by definition. Simply a vaccination at one point in time.
