A naked baby is a normal image.
what about the sick fucks who will get turned on by the naked baby.
reality is 99% of people will not get turned on by the image and view it as innocent, should we censor everything for the sake of a few pervs?

There will be people who have been turned on by the image of the naked baby boy, that's what I'm saying, if one needs censoring, the other does too.

I get the point
I'm not 100% certain behind my logic all I'm saying is I find the fact they think they can get away with putting a naked pre-pubescent girl on an album cover sick. It shouldn't be allowed.
The Nirvana one is iconic (possibly why i've never thought of it in a sick way) but I still think that is pushing it in the first place. There's no need for either truth be told.

If it aids getting rid of paedos and paedophilia? 100% yes.

The other thing to consider is the fact that the girl was in 1976, the boy was in 1991.

all of this paranoia tends to come from how we have been trained to think throughout the years due to paper, tv, news ect ect.
if we lived in a remote tribe in a forest somewere the children would walk arond compleatly naked and no one in the tribe would be bothered nor would the children.
same as children in nudists camps/lifestyles ect ect.
very intresting and complicated subject.

it wont get rid of them though, they will still be about, and censoring images wont get rid of them imo

But it's got to the point where people are so paranoid about things, you can't film your own children at sports day if one parent objects, on parent in a school of 1000 children can stop anyone filming.
There was never an issue in my day [/old]

Are you trying to compare folk being drunk to perverts getting turned on by kids?

Different matter altogether. There's a major difference between a picture of a naked girl and filming sports day.

Good point, why can they show images of uncovered nipples at any time during the day on a ray mears show, but not until after 9pm for a different show?
When you get out of the shower, you're naked, that never happens on Eastenders, but it's fine to walk around with your tits on show in the jungle, or show footage of someone having their cock mummified for some random tradition.
Doesn't make sense.

I'm not debating that, I'm saying that ten years ago, no-one had a problem with any of this, but today, everyone is so paranoid about everything, stuff like this censorship 32 years later happens.

no you have missed my point it wasnt a question of the activities it was to show you cant punish society in general for the sake of the few wrong individuals in it.

Of course you can, that's why we live in a civilised society rather than have folk running about doing as they please.
Why is it illegal to walk up and down the main street naked? The same reason you shouldn't be allowed to have pictures of naked girls on album covers, perversion.

Just to clarify, I personally don't see the point in using that image, however, it was 32 years ago and I would imagine that most people hadn't seen it until today, due to, what I think, is an overreaction.
I'm not saying the image is right, I just don't see that it's as bad as it's being made out to be, there's pictures (sort of) like that of my sister in old photo albums FFS, it's not child porn.

Because people are offended by nudity from being told that it's unacceptable by their parents.
In other countries, people wouldn't even bat an eyelid.
It's like swearing, fuck is a word, the same as spoon, cauliflower and rug. Only one is offensive though, and that's only through being told that it is.

So its acceptance in other cultures warrants its usage in this one? By that logic Gary Glitter should sleep with 12 year olds in Britain and it's fine because he got away with it overseas?
